The hydrangea is well-known for its many uses: solid or single shrub, flowering potted plant indoors and cut flowers. What more natural than to devote an event for this plant ?

Whether you are growers, breeders, scientists, collectors or journalists, Hydrangea2012 is the event not to be missed for all lovers of the hydrangea.
Organized the previous years in the United States and Belgium, this event of global significance takes place approximately every 3 years. In 2012, it is the turn of France to bring over 300 professionals around this fabulous plant.

At the heart of the first region of hydrangea production
The symposium will be held on 5-6 July 2012 in Angers (France) at the Terra Botanica Park. It has been opened in 2010 and is the biggest park in the world dedicated to plants. Attraction and presentations park, 250,000 people attend it every year.

The symposium goals

• Stimulate communication between hydrangea specialists (scientists, growers, breeders and collectors) in many fields (research, marketing, cultivation techniques);
• Pinpoint new challenges for hydrangea research and for professional hydrangea production and marketing.
